A descendant of John Richards “Little Bearskin” McKay, Titameg “Whitefish” Savagasse, Linklaters and MacDermots, Dayna has a deep connection to her Indigenous roots.
Being the owner and a Metis woman, Dayna is extremely driven and believes in a community first approach. She strives to set a strong example for her two daughters. With a background in science and long history with the Metis Nation of British Columbia and the Metis Nation of Ontario, she believes in giving back to her community.
Dayna created Infinity at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when she saw a need arise for affordable, reliable disinfecting services. She also saw the opportunity to create a company that she could grow into something as a means to help others. Growing up with a father who was deeply involved in her local, provincial and national Metis communities, Dayna also became involved in her local Metis community through out reach programs, youth groups and regional council. In addition to offering training and long term employment opportunities, Dayna’s goal is to establish relationships and share in the mutual success with indigenous communities in the long and short term.
